Gorilla Food Co. Hulled Hemp Seeds

All Hail The Holy Hemp Seed!!

Hemp is quite simply an immense gift from nature - its seeds subtly being one of the most nutritious on Earth, casually rollin' around as one of the only perfectly complete and digestible proteins on the planet, whilst also humbly having the most densely concentrated balance of vitamins and essential fatty acids known to Human Beans. Holy Hemp!

"Also called Hemp Hearts, these hulled seeds ain't no super food, brah, they're super-potent! Absolutely Heartcore to the Max!"

The seeds are produced from the hemp plant, Cannabis Sativa, and while hemp is commonly confused with marijuana - as it belongs to the same family - the two plants are very different. Hemp contains less than 1% of the psychoactive drug whilst marijuana is packin' up to 20% or more. Basically, you won't get high from eating hemp seeds, only healthy! ;) Ooooh!!

"The hemp plant itself is actually one of the most widely utilised and diverse industrial crops in the world."

Hemp fibres are considered the longest and most durable of all natural fibres, and it can even be grown without herbicides and pesticides as well as growing real-quick, almost in any country. Turn down the hemp-erature, man - this plant is seriously cool!

The plant is used to make a huge variety of commercial and industrial products including rope, clothes, paper, textiles, plastics, insulation and biofuel - people have even begun building eco-friendly houses with the stuff – called Hempcrete... or Homegrown :D

Hemp has even been used in place of traditional paper made from trees, as hemp paper can be recycled way more times than paper derived from wood. Hemp also yields nearly four times as much as trees, as it's one of the fastest growing plants known to soil.... and it's less of a toil.... so to the plant Kingdom, its kinda considered Royal!

Plastic can also be produced from hemp which makes it biodegradable, so it's rather awesome for the environment to boot. I'm tellin' ya, Doggs, this crop is from waaay outta space, man, it's literally that dope :)

"It could be that it was this immense versatility that had the establishment rattled back in the 1930s, leading to the infamous 1937 Marijuana Tax Act, which effectively killed off the entire commercial hemp industry until almost 1970."

Thankfully, nowadays hemp seeds are perfectly legal... and as there's no known allergies from hemp foods we can all ingest the Sativa seeds' unique nutritional profile and reap the significant health benefits... All Hail Mary Jane :) Known as the perfect protein - not only containing all 20 amino acids, but also each of the 9 essential amino acids that our bodies can't produce, Hemp seeds are literally nature's highest botanical source of essential fatty acids, with no other food substance containing such high quantities. Holy smokes, this seed is no joke!!

High in GLA, an essential Omega 6 fatty acid - its been proven to naturally balance hormones...and its capacity to aid in the healing process of diseases related to immune deficiency are simply off the hook! As well as containing high amounts of vitamin E and trace minerals hemp seeds also have a balanced ratio of Omega 3 to 6 fats. Honestly, this frickin' gangsta seed is just so off the charts it actually hurts......I mean....heals ;)

So stick 'em in ya hempshake-rattle-n-roll-smoothies, sprinkle that gold-n-green-fairy-dust on those salads and stir-frys......or like us, just chuck an entire table-spoon of the rastas doon ya pipe... and you'll be just fine, smiling inside...or more accurately - you'll feel sublime!
